The iconic, adventure-loving, kick-butt Lara Croft is getting a much needed Tomb Raider movie reboot. Not to say Angelina Jolie was to blame, but the original 2001 film lacked a lot of key elements to make it successful toward it's large gamer-base.
Alicia Vikander will revive the role of Lara Croft and judging from the trailer, the Swedish beauty will not disappoint. You may know her from such action films as Ex Machina and Jason Bourne. The plot goes that Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she finds herself on the island where her father disappeared.
