On Friday, video game developer Blizzard kicked off its two-day celebration of everything Blizzard known as BlizzCon. Traditionally, it's the event where one of the most successful developers on the planet makes major announcements concerning its wildly popular franchises of "Warcraft," "StarCraft," "Diablo" and "Overwatch."
This year was no exception. Blizzard announced a new "Overwatch" Hero, Ashe, and revealed a remake to "Warcraft III." But one announcement made at this year's BlizzCon made a group of gamers incredibly mad and extremely logged on over the weekend: "Diablo: Immortal."
In the simplest terms, "Diablo: Immortal" is a mobile-only interpretation of Blizzard's wildly popular action RPG series, Diablo.
